CK Vineeth an Upcoming Superstar for Indian Football from Kerala

CK Vineeth (Chekiyot Kizhakkeveetti ) born on 20 may 1988 in Kannur, he studied in S. N College Kannur. Is an Indian Professional footballer from Kerala state who plays striker and winger role for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League. He’s played under many clubs and the Indian Super League is what made him a superstar in Malayalees heart.

CK Vineeth made his debut for Chirag United Kerala in the I-League during the 2010-11 season after starting his amateur career with Chennai and Kerala State Electricity. Vineeth scored his first professional goal for Chirag United during the year 2011 – 2012. He scored a total of 8 goals for Chirag United during the time.

After his time with Chirag United, He signed with United sports club of the I-League 2012 – 2013 season.  CK Vineeth made his debut for the club on 7 October 2012 against Air India. He scored a goal as United SC won, 5 – 1.

Later, CK Vineeth scored his first hat-trick later that season against Air India on 2013. Vineeth went on with seven goals, the most among all Indian football players.

On 30 January 2014 United SC announced that CK Vineeth has been released due to financial difficulties and then signed with Bangalore FC as a new direct-entry I-League side for the remainder of the season. Vineeth, who scored 21 goals from 85 games, during his four-year contract with BFC, played a vital role in their two I-League titles.

In July 2015 CK Vineeth signed to play for Kerala Blasters FC in the 2015 Super Leauge. However, he had a poor season as he hardly chosen, and the Kerala Blasters ended up last on the table in 2016. Vineeth started playing for Kerala Blasters from the eighth game as he was playing AFC Cup with Bangalore FC.

His first appearance in yellow against FC Goa in the 85th minute, where he scored a 95th-minute goal to help win team, 2-1. In the next match, he scored two goals and helped Blasters win against Chennai FC, 3-1. Vineeth scored many goals which guide Kerala Blasters to the finals, were they defeated in penalty shootout decider. And Vineeth ended up the season with top Indian goal scorer with 5 goals from 9 matches.
